If you are stationery obsessed (like us) you won’t need much of an excuse to start buying some gorgeous cards this season. Here are a few suggestions to help you get creative with your Christmas stationery this year.
– Letters from Santa. If you have children then they will really appreciate receiving a letter from Santa in the run-up to Christmas day. If you are feeling creative then you could make your own letter from Santa by hand (don’t forget to disguise your handwriting!) and really go to town on the experience. If you are low on time you could always purchase one from Etsy.
– Christmas cards with a personal touch. There is something extra special about giving someone a Christmas card that isn’t just your run of the mill design. Really thinking about your recipient and finding something to match their personal taste is a great way to bring some additional festive cheer to the holiday season. Take a look at our Christmas cards for more inspiration.
– Hand made tree decorations. Making some decorations for your Christmas tree by hand can be a great way to spend a cold and wintery afternoon. Curl up with a mug of hot chocolate and some crafting supplies and let your imagination run wild!
– Gift tags. Add a hand-written gift tag to all of your presents this year. You could re-use old Christmas cards or decorate blank gift tags with your own designs. If you are good with a calligraphy pen then why not add some fancy typography to your design for some added wow factor?!
– Christmas table décor. Think about how you can use stationery in your festive dining table décor. You could leave little note cards for guests on their chairs, or perhaps design them a place card with a festive theme.
